The Physiotherapy Department assists the patient and family during the difficult phase of recovery from an illness or injury helping them achieves their highest physical abilities.

The department is structured with competent Chief Physiotherapist, Physiotherapist, Physiotherapy Technician, Receptionist, Secretary, Military Nurse, and Military Physiotherapy Technician.

Wide array of physical therapy services are catered both in the In-patients , Out-patients, Home care Services treatment regimens are individualized depending on the patient condition. Treatment plan of care are tailored according to its needs, thus, helping patients return to their previous level of physical functioning.

Multinational staffing collaborates with other disciplines in restoring highest possible functions in both adult and pediatric age groups.

A detailed evaluation and examination of the physical impairment are conducted to establish possible prognosis and treatment plans are recorded in the electronic Filing system.

Rehabilitation Medicine Department

 

 

The Physiotherapy service is a part of Rehabilitation Medicine Department, which is under the Medical Administration. It offers a wide range of Physiotherapeutic and rehabilitation services covering a patient population of Military staff and their dependants ,Civilians , hospital staff referred from various specialties as Out -Patients and In- patients Including Adults pediatrics and Geriatric groups Mission

The Physiotherapy department aims help patients reach his maximum potential and assume his due place in society while learning to live within the limits of his capabilities .It provides services To help restore Functions, Improve Mobility, Relieve Pain and maintain and Promote over all fitness and health and prevent or limit Permanent Physical Disabilities brought by the injuries or diseases.

Integrated and Chinese Medicine Unit

 
 

 

The decision of establish the unit came after the recommendation of Alternative Medicine Symposium Committee which conducted at the Hospital few years ago to integrate the types of Alternative treatment with the conventional specialties.
