Things to bring
- Ladies
The Hospital provides all employees
with furnished accommodation that is equipped with basic items.
Staff also have access to recreational facilities that include a
Fitness Gym and Swimming Pool. We have asked some of
our current staff what they thought new employees should bring
with them and this is what they said:
Make sure your electric hair dryer
has dual voltage (the Hospital uses 110/120 v)
If you manicure your nails, bring
some nail-boards, they can be difficult to find locally
Swimming costume if you want to use
the pool or tan
Trainers and track suit or other
conservative sporting attire - there is an outdoor track for
jogging/walking
Tennis racket if you play the game,
but these can be purchased locally
For nurses, you should bring a pair
of white shoes
A cardigan, jumper or jacket for
wearing in the winter months which have similar weather to a UK
autumn
All staff:
Conservative clothes for off-duty
time - please remember that you are considered a guest in Saudi
Arabia and it is appropriate that you dress in accordance with
local culture and custom.
If you are taking any prescription
medication, please ensure that you bring a copy of the
prescription or a letter from a physician.
