Dental Department

In this decade, the application of new knowledge and information will be the means by which the quality and effectiveness of treatment will be enhanced. The appropriate application of new knowledge and information will depend to some extent on each dentist’s commitment to ongoing improvement of his or her clinical skills for the benefit of their patient.

Generally, the clinical excellence today depends upon a commitment to life- long learning. Maybe in an accurate determination, it is the result of the synthesis of scientific knowledge, clinical experience, intuition, and common sense.

Staffing- the department has nearly 45 employees distributed between medical and administrative staff. It includes the following: the Chief of the Centrum, the senior dental assistant, 11 dentists, 14 dental assistants, 3 oral hygienists, 4 dental technicians, secretary, CSSD staff, reception staff, Administrative supervisor, administrative supervisor assistant, and housekeeper.

For dentists, we have many specialties as Pedodontists, Orthodontists, Endodontists, Prosthodontists, Periodontists, etc..., beside the General Practitioners. We have both male and female dentists.

on the way to develop and update the Dental Centrum, there are many dental equipment for great benefit for the dentists and the patients.

We have fully equipped dental unit and instruments for most of the dental fields to raise the quality of service in the Centrum. Also, we have the regular x-rays, Panoramic, Cephalometric dental x-rays, aside from the digital x-rays (Visualix), which is considered the most recent equipment used in the decade. In addition, the Profile system, which is considered the most recent used equipment for endodontics. The dental department has fully equipped dental laboratory with equipments that can fabricate pedo, ortho, and removable and fixed appliance.

Besides the fully equipped medical room, there are many administrative offices for the employees and separate rooms used as offices for the dentists and administrative staff. There are also three sterilization rooms and one separate room as the isolation room for patients with infectious diseases. In addition, there are separate tea- rooms and waiting areas for both male and female staff.  

the average number of patients seen per month is nearly 2,500 patients. We can treat medically compromised patients and in- patients in the general operating room. In the same time, our service covers emergency cases 24 hours.

There is a working system that depends on walk-in session and appointments. For walk- in sessions, there is morning schedule on Saturdays and Mondays, and afternoon schedule every Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For appointment sessions, the number of patients will depend on the length of the procedure to be performed by the dentists. Emergency cases are seen if and when the walk- in number or appointment at a specified time is not around.
