The Hospital
is organized in two main buildings that are linked by communication
towers. The front building consists of five levels of
which the upper three contain the inpatient wards.
Male Wards
consist of 1 medical and two surgical wards, and a VIP area.
There are twin observation rooms adjacent to each of the five nursing
stations, but all other patient rooms are single occupancy.
Female
Wards consist of a similar range to the Male Ward area, but with
the addition of an Infectious Diseases Ward equipped with a reverse
air-flow system. The nursing stations in both the male and
female ward areas are spacious and supported by substantial storage
and other facilities.
Paediatrics & Ob/Gyn Wards are located on the second level of the
Hospital and include Antenatal and Postnatal Wards, two Paediatrics
Wards and a six-bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit is also located on this level which is adjacent to
the other critical care areas located in the rear building and linked
by corridor to the ward areas. |
