MIS

The MIS Department provides the optimum service for various departments. Department is headed by MIS-Supervisor with 8 members of staff includes one MIS-Engineer, two Computer Programmers, one Network Specialist, one Software Technician, one Hardware Technician & one Computer Instructor.

      Supports for System Software Installation.

   Supports for Hardware Maintenance.

   Developing (in-house) & maintaining Programs for various departments.

   Installing & Maintaining Networks.

   Maintaining Internet & Tele Services (Tele-Medicine, Tele-Pathology & Tele-Radiology).

Providing training (On Job Training Course) for staff in Computer Basics.

Hospital wide Intranet has been installed which is connected together with hospital and its 22 remote sites via both Fiber Optics and DSL having 650 nodes.

A proposal for Integration of  all MSD Hospitals Information Systems are made.  Further to that conducting site survey and system study are going on.

Many modules of Hospital Information System have been developed in house and installed in key areas such as Patient Services, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology, Finance and Manpower, etc.
