Patient Departments to make the flow of patients’ medical files in
a minimum of time.
Medical Records Department is
the latest innovated service in all Military Hospitals. It
includes divisions such as:
Filing Room: the area where to
process and store files.
File Management: the area where
files are processed and repaired if any damage happened to them.
Assembling & Analysis: the area
where discharged patients’ files are scrutinized and put in
order.
Coding: where the most up-dated
coding version ( ICD.10.CM) is used.
Transcription: where the most
up-dated equipment is used to receive medical dictation via
telephone.
Electronic Archiving: where a
recent system is employed so as to store patients’ files in
computer software.
