Our medical museum was established in 2003 for the purpose of
educating.

The Museum is composed of two main Sections:
1.
Educational &
Medical Affairs Section :
Reports directly to
Program Medical Administration and has the following assignments:
-
Organizing the
process to moving the medical instruments, pictures, books
in and out of the museum and how to take care of each piece.
-
Preparing
identification card in Arabic and for English for each piece
in the museum.

Assigning a
guide (male or female doctor or medical technician) to each
group coming for a visit.

This Section
is mainly concerned with the following specialties:
-
Ob/Gyn.,
Pediatrics, Surgery & Anesthesia ,Internal Medicine &
Intensive Care ,Cardiology , Physiotherapy Radiology
,Pathology ,Dental, Integrated Medicine and Nursing.
2. Public
Affairs Section:
Reports to Program
Public Affairs Departments, and mainly concerned with taking care
and marinating of all museum furniture
Schedule visiting
times and maintaining the visitors and register, serving some sort
of hospitality to the visitors and providing them with any leaflets
or historical information they might need.
It is also
concerned with the safety of museum and providing the required fire
extinguishers with periodic schedule of check up.
