Nursing Administration works closely with the clinical supervisors to support staff in the delivery of care in a responsive and professional manner.   Our multi-cultural nursing team lends a broad dimension of educational experience in which individuals are recognized for both their initiative and teamwork skills.   Working in our Hospital will provide you with an opportunity to learn from, and teach others whilst enjoying the rich experience of life in the Middle East.

The Nursing Office is located in a dedicated suite containing a reception and waiting area, Supervisors offices, Internet facility, Conference Room (doubles as the Disaster Control Room), Military Nursing Office, Nursing QA & Risk Management Office, Central Document Archive and Secretarial Services.   This structure provides the administrative support for the Nursing Service and is staffed by a duty Nursing Supervisor on a 24/7 basis.

Nursing Orientation - All nurses arriving to take up an appointment in our Hospital are provided with a one week orientation to the department and their job.   This orientation includes a full introduction to the Hospital with input from the Administration, Manpower, Fire & Safety and other departments.   BCLS instruction is mandatory and there are regular opportunities for continuing professional development.

Nursing Quality & Risk Management

We are one of the first Hospitals in the Military Health Service to have revised our operational policies in accordance with new standards recently published by the Medical Services Department.  We have an active TQM program and an established Risk Management Process to ensure a professional response system is in place to support staff in overcoming operational problems.
