Respiratory Therapy Department in
King Khalid Military City Hospital, Hafr Al Batin is under the
Director of Ancillary Services. It offers 24 hours service to
the patient, using diagnostic and therapeutic services. However
the major services that the Department offers is Mechanical
Ventilation. Mechanical Ventilation service is offered around
the clock for all patients ranging from Neonates, Pediatrics to
Adults.

Finally, by physical therapy and rehabilitation, the department
will be able to attain the maximal potential of patient for normal
living physically, psychologically socially and vocationally. It
aimed to teach individuals with permanent disabilities how best to
maximize their physical potential to cope with the demands of a
new lifestyle and share responsibility in promoting health,
fitness and well-being within the community.
Medical
Cases which are treated and admitted in the department include
acute, sub-acute and chronic cases of orthopedic, musculoskeletal,
neurologic, pediatric, obstetric and gynecological,
sports-related cases, systemic, pulmonary, congenital and other
genetic abnormalities.
