The Northern Area Armed Forces Hospital aims
to provide high standard of medical care for
all military personnel, civilians, staff and
their dependents who are eligible for
treatment at the hospital. It also aims to
provide high quality patient care for all
people in case of an emergency or when
regulations provide it do so and to provide
high standard of preventive care for the
community population and to ensure
continuing professional education for staff
development.

Accreditation
The Northern Area Armed Forces
Hospital has been fully accredited
to the MSD Standards (Medical
Services Division of Ministry of
Defense and Aviation, Saudi Arabia).
The Accreditation Survey was
undertaken in April 2006.
The External Assessment
Survey was conducted by
Canadian Council on Health
Services Accreditation (CCHSA)
from June 11-15, 2005. The
NAAFH Hospital was found to
be 94.10% in overall
compliance to the MSD
Standards by this agency.
